If reports from Spain’s Mundo Deportivo are to be believed, Cristiano Ronaldo will win the Ballon d’Or on Monday night for the fourth time in his career. The award will bring Ronaldo within one of Messi’s five Ballon d’Ors, with the two of them dominating the competition since 2008.
The forward has had a trophy-laden year with Real Madrid and Portgual. Having won the Champions League and captaining his country to success in the Euro 2016 last summer. Ronaldo scored 51 goals in 48 appearances for Los Blancos last season.
According to journalist Francesc Aguilar, Ronaldo will give an exclusive interview to France Football on Tuesday.
